Vespers is Latin for “Evening.” We get together at 6:00 pm on Thursdays, and sing psalms and hymns, pray together, and hear the Word of God preached.
It is a beautiful service. The choir often sings, and our cantor, Steven Hoffman, plays the organ beautifully.
The services are less than an hour, and are very refreshing for your soul. During Advent and Lent these services take on a more somber and penitential tone.
